FULL ITINERARY
Day 1: Zamiin Uud Arrival – Sainshand (L, D)
Enter Mongolia via ERENHOT – ZAMIIN UUUD International Border point. Then meet your English-speaking local guide, and have lunch in the Local Restaurant. Next, drive to the SAINSHAND town, and transfer to the Local Hotel later. Dinner / Breathing about Self-driving in Mongolia & Team Introduction/ Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 2: Zamiin Uud – Terelj National Park (B, L, D)
Breakfast in the Hotel then drives to the Terelj Nation Park near ULAANBAATAR Capital city in the early morning. Have a picnic lunch on the way. Continue to drive to the Chinggis Khaan Monument Complex at the Tsonjin Boldog. Enjoy seeing the highest Man on the Horse statue Worldwide. By the way, the Horse relay postal system and the Origin of the modern diplomatic theory were created under the Chinggis Khaan reign. Continue driving to the Terelj National Park. After that transfer to the Tourist camp. Dinner and Overnight in the Tourist camp.

Day 3: Terelj National Park – Ulaanbatar (B, L, D)
After breakfast in the Tourist camp, enjoy the Terelj National Park with Turtle Rock and Fantastic Granite Rock Formation with a wonderful natural site Combination. Drive to the ULAANBAATAR Capital city, next transfer to the “Bayangol” Hotel. Have lunch in the Restaurant. Dinner and Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 4: Ulaanbaatar Capital City Tour (B, L, D)
After breakfast in the Hotel, then take a city tour by Minibus. Visit the Main Square, Galleria Ulaanbaatar, and Gandan Monastery Buddhist Temple Complex. Lunch in the Restaurant. Later, visit the Chinggis Khaan Museum, the World’s 10th biggest museum presenting all historical periods and highlights of Mongolian history. The nine-story modern museum with 15 exhibition halls will cover an area of 20 500 square meters. Dinner and Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 5: Ulaanbatar – Erdenet (B, L, D)
Have breakfast in the Hotel, then drive to ERDENET city which is 3rd largest city in Mongolia. The city hosts the fourth-largest copper mine in the World, which was founded in 1974. The erdenet city has 90 000 inhabitants, it’s the center of the Orkhon province.
For Picnic Lunch on the way. Continue driving to ERDENET city. Later, transfer to the Local Hotel and dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

Day 6: Erdenet – Lake Khuvsgul (B, L, D)
Breakfast in the Hotel, then drives to Lake Khuvsgul, heading to Northern Mongolia, the natural zone transferring from the Treeless Hills area into the Alpine Mountainous zone and Wetland valleys and Lake Khuvsgul.
Picnic Lunch on the way, continues to drive to Lake Khuvsgul then transfer to the Tourist camp. Explore the MURUN town on the way, the center of the KHUVSGUL province which was established in the 1931 year. The Center is Murun town, its borders on the North with Russian Federation and 692 km from Ulaanbaatar. Home to the fresh and deep lake of Khuvsgul and Khoridol Saridag mountain range, isolated and deep forests, and peculiar customs of many ethnic groups is the main destination of foreign tourism in Mongolia. This is the most humid region in Mongolia. We will refill petrol and provide some water and goods supply. Dinner and overnight in the Tourist camp.

Day 7: Lake Khuvsgul Exploration (B, L, D)
Breakfast in the Tourist camp before enjoying and relaxing in the Lake Khuvsgul area which holds 70% of Mongolian freshwater reserves. It’s 136km long and its maximum depth is 262 meters. It is not as deep as Lake Baikal but is part of the Baikal Rift system, which resulted from the pressures associated with the collision between India and Asia some 55 million years ago. Situated at 1 645 meters above sea level. Lake Khuvsgul is known as the “Mongolian Switzerland” for foreign tourists. Lunch in the Tourist camp. In the afternoon drive a short excursion to the lake shore by vehicle. Dinner and overnight in the Tourist camp.

Day 8: Lake Khuvsgul – Delgermurn (B,L, D)
Breakfast in the tourist camp then drives to the Delgermurun through MURUN town. Spend time visiting the Deer Stone Monument circa the Bronze Age. Uushgiin Uvur is the Bronze Age site that contains 14 upright carved stones with heights of 1 to 4 meters, 20-50 centimeters thick, and 30-100 centimeters wide. Some 600 deer stones have been found in Central Asia, 500 of them found in the territory of Mongolia. Deer stones are the first monuments of humans; the earliest of them belong to the Bronze Age. On restored, standing stones, pictures including the sun, the moon, belts, knives, and jumping deer were carved fantastically. Deer stones were not grave markers except for the later Bronze Age ones, but clan totems and worship sites. However, Uushgiin Uvur deer stones mark tombs. Among the 14 deer stones, one stone topped with a women's head is special as there are only a handful of such deer stones in Mongolia.
After that, transfer to the Tourist camp and have lunch in the Tourist camp. Continue to enjoy the Mongolian Rodeo Show, an important part of the Mongolian Horse culture and tradition. This is one of the Best Performances and Play-off. Perfect time to take the most alive and fascinating photos of real Mongolian Nomadic life heritage and old traditions related to Mongolian horses. Mongolian Horse Culture Mongolian history and culture are inextricably linked to the horse. Many thousand years ago humans tamed the horse in the steppe for the first time, a big step in human civilization. It is difficult to imagine the nomad’s life and history without horses; the horse was the speed, and the speed was the power. The Horse was the one of main factors in the success and power of the Mongolians. During Chinggis Khan’s conquests, stirrup and trousers were introduced to the world and after that time became widespread around the world. At the end of the day, dinner and overnight in the tourist camp.

Day 9: Delgermurn – Tosntsengl (B, L, D)
Breakfast in the tourist camp then drives to the TOSONTSENGEL, one of the long and tough countryside roads going for almost the whole day through the Northern Mongolian mountainous wild nature. Have a picnic lunch on the way, then drive to the TOSONTSENGEL Village and transfer to the Tourist camp. Dinner and overnight in the Tourist camp.

Day 10: Tosntsengl – Ulaangom Town (B, L, D)
Finish the breakfast in the tourist camp, and drive to Lake Khyargas Basin, the natural zone transferring from the Alpine Mountain area into the Semi Desert and Arid Open plateau and Great Lake basin. After that, have a picnic lunch on the way.
Continue to drive to the Lake Khyargas basin. Pay for a short excursion on the Lake Khyargas shore and photo session time. Enjoy Lake Khyargas and its surrounding area, which is a Salt Lake located in the district of Khyargas, province of the Uvs, at an altitude of approximately 1 025m above sea level. From its size of 75km long by 31km large, it’s considered the second main lake in the West part of Mongolia. One thing to note is this major salty lake is coming partly from another small named Airag Lake, which is a freshwater one. Both lakes are preserved by the authorities and are considered a National Natural Park. Classified as The Great Lakes Basin by the World Wildlife Fund /WWF/, it has become a priority and unique terrestrial ecoregion. Continue to drive to ULAANGOM town, the center of the UVS province.
Next, transfer to the Hotel and have dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

Day 11: Ulaangom – Ulgii (B, L, D)
Breakfast in the hotel before driving to ULGII town, the center of the BAYAN-ULGII province, which is living of 28,496 population. The center of the predominantly Kazakh region of Mongolia. Kazakh nationality is only Muslim in the country and the city is home to 4 mosques. Have a picnic lunch on the way, then refill your petrol in the Khotgor Coal mining village. After driving to the ULGII town, transfer to the Tourist camp. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

Day 12: Ulgii – Sagsai (B, L, D)
Breakfast in the tourist camp before driving to the SAGSAI soum, 40km the South of ULGII town. In the waypoint, see the Eagle Hunter’s clothing and the Horse ornaments. Enjoy the Kazak horsemen”s show named Kukbar and Kyz Kuu. Following the show, visit the Kazak herder’s Family to see their living and feel face-to-face with old traditions in a warm atmosphere. Lunch with the Kazak Family, enjoy the whole lamb meat BBQ, then return to ULGII town. Dinner and overnight in the tourist camp.

Day 13: Ulgii – Khovd (B, L, D)
Have breakfast in the tourist camp, then drive to the KHOVD town, the center of the KHOVD province. At the waypoint, have lunch in the Local Restaurant, and transfer to the Local Hotel. Visit the Local Museum before we go to see the Local Black market for a more deeply understanding of domestic life and their living style etc. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 14: Khovd – Bulgan (B, L, D)
Drive to the BULGAN soum after breakfast in the hotel. And have a picnic lunch on the way. At the waypoint, enjoy seeing the High Altai Mountain Amazing valley with the Bodonch River basin in Western Mongolia. Continue to drive to the BULGAN soum then transfer to the Local Hotel. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

Day 15: Yaran – Takeshiken International Border Point Departure (B)
After breakfast in the Local Hotel, transfer to the YARANT, Mongolian International Border point. Custom Clearance Departing to the TAKESHIKEN, a Chinese International Border Point. Your Mongolia tour ends.
